2022 Year in Review – Nonprofits
This year we built websites for 133 Nonprofit organizations all over the world. Each nonprofit that participated in one of our events received a professional WordPress site from their team of build volunteers, training in SEO, WordPress, social media, and branding from our many amazing impact lab speakers, as well as one month of free hosting to get their digital journey started.

Our total giveback to Nonprofits in 2022 is over 3.3 million dollars! Our largest initiatives served are civil and human rights, community development, and education. Our efforts did not end there however, we ended up serving over 15 distinct categories of nonprofit. Our giveback was far reaching – we served every region of the US and had nonprofits representing every continent (minus Antarctica but we are still holding out hope).
None of these incredible achievements would be possible without the incredible build volunteers who dedicated their weekends to helping so many nonprofits take the leap and gain invaluable tools to work towards their missions. Finally, the many planning committee and event volunteers who are so passionate about 48in48, we couldn’t have done it without you.
