Frequently Asked Questions
You can get to both your Dashboard and Coursework by going the learning website here https://48in48.org/nonprofit-dashboard/.
We typically go live with websites the week following the event.
In some cases sites may be delayed additionally for a Post Event support team to work through any incomplete tasks.
All of the Coursework is required to be completed 6 weeks before an event for your website to be included in the next upcoming event.
To get to the login for your new site, put /wp-admin after your domain name.
It would be https://yourdomain.org/wp-admin
If you do not have your username or password, your username should be your email, and you can use the Forgot Password? link to reset your password.
The 48in48 sites platform is a closed platform built on WordPress.
This means that we have carefully curated all of the Themes and Plugins that are available for use.
Given there are hundreds of thousands of themes and plugins available, this method allows allows us to support many volunteers and nonprofits more efficiently.
Your staging site, and your live site if you host with us, will not allow you to add or edit Plugins or Themes.

You'll need to put in a support request.
Your options are:
- We'll package up your files and database, send you a .zip file.
- Your new host may have a specific migration plugin, we can install that and give them access.
- We can recommend a 3rd party that you can pay to do the migration for you.
REMINDER
Remember, you will now be responsible for plugin licenses for the premium plugins that were used to build your site.

NOTE: Your website will still work without licenses to these plugins. You will not be able to update these plugins without a license. Over time, you may run into performance or security issues if these plugins are not updated.
