Thinking about joining a build team?
Bring your technology and marketing skills to our weekend event where we will once again provide support for dozens of nonprofits around the world. Our Social Justice event focuses on serving nonprofits founded and run by Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) or whose mission is social justice oriented.
We are so excited for this opportunity to raise community awareness for those that work tirelessly to support and create justice for people of color. Our goal is to use our platform to unite passionate volunteers into action by using their skills to expand the digital capacity, and ability to impact, of nonprofits on the ground in diverse settings.
Simply register with us to join in. Come as an individual volunteer or bring a team. We welcome teams of coworkers seeking opportunities to connect outside the office. We recommend each tea has at least five members who can confidently cover one or more of the following skillsets:
- Project Management
- WordPress Development
- Content Development
- UX/UI Design
- Digital Marketing.

What happens next?
Welcome to the 48in48 family!
When you sign up, you will receive event and training information as needed via email prior to the event. You will be assigned to a team / nonprofit and have contact info for your team by Friday's kickoff. We kick off at 6p ET on Friday and close at 6p ET on Sunday. We are currently fully virtual.
If you know a nonprofit who could benefit from our work, please complete the nonprofit nomination form below.
This virtual event takes place over the weekend, from Friday evening, to Sunday afternoon.
- Opening ceremonies will be held on Friday at approximately 6 pm EST
- The closing event will begin at around 6 pm EST on Sunday.

48in48 is a 501c3 organization, our mission is to mobilize marketing and technology volunteers to serve nonprofits worldwide. 48in48 signature events empower nonprofit organizations with tools they need to be more successful in achieving their mission by building 48 nonprofit websites in 48 hours.
By 2025, 48in48 will mobilize 10,000 volunteers, serving 2,300 nonprofits and achieving $75m of impact!
