301 Redirects

301 Redirects are critical when building a new site. A 301 redirect let’s google know that the old URL for one page that was previously indexed has permenantly changed to a new URL, that way google can keep the page indexed and the nonprofit won’t lose it’s google rank.

For 301 redirects we use the Rediretion Plugin. Below is a video walking you through how to use it.
