Objective
This SOP outlines the steps to collect visitor emails on a non-profit’s website using subscribe forms and integrating with email marketing services.
Key Steps
Step 1: Access Power Pack Settings 0:00
- Navigate to the Settings section of your website.
- Click on Power Pack to access various templates.
Step 2: Select Row Templates 0:20
- Click on Templates within Power Pack.
- Choose Row Templates to view available options.
Step 3: Activate Subscribe Form Templates 0:38
- Look for Subscribe Forms among the templates.
- Activate the Subscribe Forms template to access 14 different options.
Step 4: Create a New Page 1:15
- Go to your website pages and create a new page named Test Form Submission.
- Launch Beaver Builder to edit the new page.
Step 5: Add Subscribe Form Row 1:38
- In Beaver Builder, locate the Rows section.
- Click the dropdown and select Power Pack Row Templates.
- Choose Subscribe Forms and drag your preferred template onto the page.
Step 6: Edit Subscribe Form 2:02
- Click into the subscribe form to edit the text (e.g., change to Subscribe Now!).
- Save your changes.
Step 7: Integrate Email Service 2:20
- Within the form settings, select the email service you want to integrate (e.g., ActiveCampaign or MailChimp).
- Input the required information: account name, API URL, and API key.
Step 8: Save and Finalize 3:05
- After entering the necessary details, click Save to finalize the integration.
Cautionary Notes
- Ensure you have access to the email service account to retrieve the API key.
- If you do not have the API key, contact support for assistance after the event.
Tips for Efficiency
- Familiarize yourself with the email service’s API documentation for a smoother integration process.
- Test the subscribe form after setup to ensure it captures emails correctly.
