Step 1 - How to start your homepage layout

To start your homepage at 48in48 first make sure you have reviewed the following:
  • Nonprofit’s Branding Questionnaire
  • Nonprofit’s Website Questionnaire
  • Nonprofit’s current digital properties (website, social media)
Next, you can find template layouts to start with in the following 2 ways. Make sure you are using the Beaver Builder Theme. If you have changed your theme already, change it back to Beaver Builder for the next part. To see videos of this in action, you can view them on this page.

Option #1

On the back end of the staging site
  1. Click on Pages
  2. Click on Home - Front Page
  3. Click on the Tab titled “Page Builder”
  4. Click “Launch Page Builder”
  5. Click the Plus sign in the top right
  6. Click “Templates”
  7. From that list, you can pick a template that will fit your nonprofit as a starting point.
  8. Click “Replace Existing Layout”
  9. Start customizing from there

Option #2 (these layouts are a little better)

On the back end of the staging site
  1. Click on “Settings”
  2. Click on Power Pack
