The IBM Team
Join the 2022 Global Hybrid Event
October 14 - 16, 2022
You can create your own IBM volunteer team!
You can join as an IBMer and get placed on teams with other IBMers!
OR, you can create a team of family and friends!
Each team will be assigned to create or enhance a nonprofit website, which will be done using 48in48’s hosting platform and process. Read below for a few of the skill sets we need, but please keep in mind any professional skill set will be helpful as we can find a role just right for you.
Did we say hybrid?
Yes! The event will be hosted in Atlanta for those who want to join in person, and for those around the globe or who prefer to participate from the comfort of their homes, it will also be virtual - so anyone can join!

What's involved in building a site?
Here are a few things to know.
- No coding necessary. 48in48 will provide training and guidance for those with some web-building experience. The sites are built in WordPress using the Beaver Builder page builder.
- All websites are free to the nonprofits and all build teams are made up of volunteers working together towards a great cause.
- We need volunteers with all professional backgrounds, willing to jump in and offer their skills. Whether it's digital marketing, quality assurance, design, content management, project management, or organization skills. Also, if you know how to build a website on a different platform, and are willing to learn WordPress + Beaver Builder, this is the event for you.
We are looking for volunteers in these areas (and more):
PLANNING AND ORGANIZATION SKILLS
SOCIAL MEDIA AND MARKETING
